Ever felt upset and remorseful for not fulfilling the promises you have made? Most of the time, I do.

I always made promises, but some are however, kept to it. Sometimes, we tell ourselves, "I want to do this...from today onwards." Or "I will not do this...from today onwards." Well, these are two common sentences which many people would promise themself and to God.

Take for an example, you promised God that you would not steal. Its not easy to keep a promise, and it usually take days, weeks or even months to make it as a habit. It always start slowly, gradually picking up the constant change as days goes by.

Lets say for the first day, you saw something that you really liked, and you're tempted to steal. You told yourself that you've made a promise and you shouldn't do it. You walked away.

The next day, you then saw something which you liked again, you tried to get a closer look, your heart feel the thump and your inner conscience is telling you "take it, just do it. You know you want it." No, you thought to yourself, then you walked away.

As days goes by, your faithfulness to God and the promise you kept to him starts to depart and fall off. Gradually as day goes by, you wake up in the morning, you do not have the passion and fire in your heart that says that 'Remember the promise you've made to God."

Henceforth, the person is likely to steal the item after 3 or 4 days has passed. Men are vulnerable to be attack by any means in this Pragmatist world. Each day, our promise that we have made starts to decline, our mind will constantly tell us to do it when we are vulnerable.

How to be Invulnerable?
1. Pray to God before you start doing anything.
2. When you wake up in the morning, remember to tell yourself that you've made a promise to God.
3. The Holy spirit will tell you what is wrong and right, listen to him. If you know that the thing you are going to do is wrong, and your heart/mind is feeling uncomfortable, you know that is wrong. If its right, just ask God for guidance.

Remember, we should not give up easily just because our promise are not kept. We have to constantly tell ourselves that a promise should be kept, and gradually your faith in God will be stronger.

God wants you to continue making these promises although you have broke them, he has forgived your failures and each time you make a mistake, God has already forgiven you, its just that whether you want to admit it; Repentant.

Continue to make these promises because our God is a true living miracle working God! Amen!
